| dc.description | The text has as a connecting thread of analysis a conceptual triad, namely: women, education and the press. Temporarily it comprises the first half of the 20th century and spatially focuses its attention on Zacatecas. In this sense, the chapter emphasizes a greater presence of Zacatecas in the public sphere, paving the way for different activities, especially of an educational nature and the incipient political scenario that was opening for Mexican women, within the framework of Western feminism in the era and the contextual changes that took place in the country. | es_ES |

Temporalmente comprende la primera mitad del siglo XX y espacialmente centra su atención en Zacatecas. En este sentido, el capítulo hace énfasis en una mayor presencia de zacatecanas en el ámbito público, abriendo camino en distintas actividades, sobre todo de carácter educativo y el incipiente escenario político que se abría para las mexicanas, en el marco del feminismo occidental en la época y los cambios contextuales que se llevaron a cabo en el país. | es_ES |
