| Abstract: | El capítulo considera la vida y obra de al profesora Beatriz González Ortega y Ferniza, quien se desempeñó como maestra en el Zacatecas de finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX, destacando por su desempeño profesional con la titularidad en puestos de toma de decisiones y su desempeño social, particularmente en relación con sus congéneres y durante la Toma de Zacatecas en 1914. El texto también considera su estancia en la ciudad de México y los reconocimientos que tuvo durante su vida y de manera póstuma. |
| Description: | The chapter considers the life and work of Professor Beatriz González Ortega y Ferniza, who served as a teacher in Zacatecas in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, standing out for her professional performance with tenure in decision-making positions and her social performance, particularly in relation to their peers and during the Taking of Zacatecas in 1914. The text also considers his stay in Mexico City and the recognitions he had during his life and posthumously. |
