| Abstract: | El capítulo analiza la vida y obra de un personaje zacatecano singular: Ángela Ramos Aguilar, mejor conocida como "Juana Gallo". Por medio de fuentes de primera mano se da cuenta de las principales acciones que definieron la vida de esta zacatecana, quien no participó en la Revolución Mexicana como se le ha querido vincular, particularmente a partir de un famoso corrido y una película, sino en otros eventos históricos como el movimiento cristero. El texto también considera el impacto que este personaje femenino ha tenido no sólo en la entidad, sino a nivel nacional. |
| Description: | The chapter analyzes the life and work of a singular Zacatecan character: Ángela Ramos Aguilar, better known as "Juana Gallo". Through first-hand sources, he realizes the main actions that defined the life of this woman from Zacatecas, who did not participate in the Mexican Revolution as she has wanted to link, particularly from a famous bullfight and a film, but in others historical events such as the cristero movement. The text also considers the impact that this female character has had not only on the entity, but on a national level. |
