dc.descriptionThe environmental topic arrived on the political agenda questioning citizens, groups and institutions. From this concert of actors, universities are relevant due to its social incidence and critical tradition. Today, Mexican Universities claim the sustainability. This paper aims to determine the moments that mark the gradual assimilation of the environmental issue in public universities, and characterize the scope of this appropriation in its substantive tasks. The supplies are secondary documental data, public politic and specialized articles. As a conclusion, the environmental issue has penetrated on university through a formal and informal way, being displayed in three core areas, but those are not articulated each other.es_ES
dc.description.abstractEl tema ambiental arribó a la agenda política interpelando a la ciudadanía, los colectivos y las instituciones. De ese concierto de actores las universidades son relevantes por su incidencia social y tradición crítica. Hoy las universidades mexicanas vindican la sustentabilidad. Este documento busca: determinar los momentos que marcan la asimilación gradual del tema medioambiental en las universidades públicas, y caracterizar los alcances de esa apropiación en sus tareas sustantivas. Los insumos son datos secundarios de tipo documental, política pública y artículos especializados. Se concluye que en efecto la cuestión ambiental ha penetrado formal e informalmente en los circuitos universitarios para desplegarse en tres áreas medulares de su quehacer, pero estas áreas no se encuentran articuladas entre sí.es_ES
