dc.descriptionMental illnesses have traditionally been surrounded by stigma, which can increase the suffering associated with them. In the case of Arthur Fleck, the protagonist of the film Joker, it is identified how the classic definition of stigma contributes to the deterioration of his personal identity. The concept of suffering associated with the character’s mental illness is also reviewed.es_ES
