| Abstract: | Esta investigación aborda dos cuestiones: la presencia de la teología gnóstica en el pensamiento de E. M. Cioran y su concepción del cristianismo primitivo. Su punto de partida es la afirmación conforme a la cual las influencias intelectuales de mayor importancia, en el caso de este autor, se encuentran en el mundo antiguo; su hipótesis central es que el filósofo rumano, al revivir algunos de los postulados de las sectas gnósticas, en realidad está intentando adjudicar, en el tiempo presente, un futuro al cristianismo. |
| Description: | This research approaches two questions: the presence of gnostic theology in the thought of E. M. Cioran and his conception of early christianity. His point of departure is the assertion of the most important intellectual influences, in the case of this author, are found in the ancient world; his central hypothesis is that the romanian philosopher, to reviving some of the postulates of the gnostic sects, is actually trying to award, in the present time, a future to the christianity. |
