| Abstract: | En este artículo propongo concebir al perdón como un proceso de eliminación de las actitudes reactivas de sanción, que constituye parte de la disposición del ofendido para restablecer determinado tipo de relación de reciprocidad con el ofensor. Distinguir entre tipos de reciprocidad permite reconocer que el perdón es un fenómeno más heterogéneo de lo que suele darse por sentado en la literatura filosófica, así como entender por qué no tiene sentido la disputa gratuidad-condicionalidad del perdón. |
| Description: | In this paper I propose conceiving of forgiveness as a process of eliminating punitive reactive attitudes, which makes up part of the offended’s willingness to reestablish a certain type of reciprocal relationship with the offender. Distinguishing among types of reciprocity allows us to realize that forgiveness is a more varied phenomenon than is usually assumed in the philosophical literature, as well as to understand why the argument gratuitousness-conditionality of forgiveness is meaningless. |
