dc.descriptionIn recent decades, a vigorous relationship has been forged between the museology and oral history that make up a interdisciplinary device, through which the conservative nature of museums as repositories of historical and artistic heritage that support their functioning in collecting and art transcends the mere exhibition of objects, because through the recovery of direct testimonies and life stories, the transcultural dimension of community museums can be circumscribed. These spaces establish crossroads, connections of people, objects and orality that form an integral part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (PCI), through which the promoters, volunteers and active members of the communities, although they can appropriate the knowledge, customs and traditions in relation to their environment, enable the narrative retransmission of such knowledge. This article presents the life story of Pablo Román, one of the main cultural promoters of the Zóquite Museum, located in the region of the Valley of Guadalupe, Zacatecas, and whose narrative accounts for the cultural trajectory and the social challenges that has faced community museology in the context of a social crisis that permeates Zacatecas. At the same time, it can illustrate the situation that these rural projects located in the north central region of Mexico are going through.es_ES
dc.description.abstractEn las últimas décadas se ha forjado una vigorosa relación entre la nueva museología con la historia oral que conforma un dispositivo interdisciplinario mediante el cual trasciende el carácter conservador de los museos como depósitos del patrimonio histórico y artístico que sustentan su funcionamiento en el coleccionismo y la exhibición de objetos, pues a través de la recuperación de los testimonios directos y de las historias de vida se puede circunscribir la dimensión transcultural de los museos comunitarios. Estos recintos constituyen zonas de cruces, conexiones de personas, objetos y oralidades que forman parte integral del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial (PCI), a través del cual, los promotores, voluntarios y miembros activos de las comunidades, si bien pueden apropiarse del conocimiento, costumbres y tradiciones en relación a su medio ambiente, posibilitan la retransmisión narrativa de dichos saberes. En este artículo se presenta la historia de vida de Pablo Román, uno de los principales promotores culturales del Museo de Zóquite, ubicado en la región de los Valles en Guadalupe, Zacatecas y cuya narrativa da cuenta de la trayectoria cultural y los desafíos sociales que ha enfrentado la museología comunitaria en el entorno de una crisis social que permea en Zacatecas. Al mismo tiempo, puede ilustrar la situación que atraviesan estos proyectos rurales emplazados en la región centro norte de México.es_ES
