dc.descriptionThis article, the result of an investigation in primary sources, focuses on analyzing a case study of a teacher who suffered several abuses, both in her teaching work and in the reduction of her salaries; At the same time, the investigation considers the defense that the students of the Veracruz Normal School made of this fact, thus demonstrating its moral, ethical and youthful values. The work contributes to the history of education in Mexico in the last part of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th; as well as the history of women, to whom her great love for the country and her teaching profession are made visible and understood.en_US
dc.description.abstractEste artículo, resultado de una investigación en fuentes primarias, se centra en analizar un estudio de caso de una profesora que sufrió varios atropellos, tanto en su labor magisterial como en la reducción de sus salarios; a la par, la investigación considera la defensa que los estudiantes de la Escuela Normal Veracruzana hicieron de este hecho, demostrando así sus valores morales, éticos y de juventud. El trabajo abona a la historia de la educación en México en la última parte del siglo XIX y principios del XX; así como a la historia de las mujeres, a quienes se visibiliza y se comprende su grande amor a la patria y a su oficio magisterial.en_US
