| Abstract: | Resulta interesante abordar el tema de la violencia digital en las universidades, principalmente porque se convierten en caja de resonancia en la sociedad. En ese sentido, primero será indispensable remontarse a los antecedentes más inmediatos que dieron pie a una legislación en contra de la violencia digital, también se hará mención de lo que algunas universidades están implementando para evitarla y, finalmente, se revisarán algunos casos que se suscitaron en el ámbito escolar justo en el contexto del confinamiento. Para lo anterior, será indispensable contestar las siguientes preguntas: ¿qué factores sociales y jurídicos determinaron y dieron pie al inicio de un nuevo marco jurídico para legislar sobre la violencia digital?, ¿cómo afecta el uso y consumo de las imágenes el ambiente escolar?, ¿hasta qué punto las universidades han tomado el tema de la violencia digital y han elaborado propuestas para mejorar la vida escolar? En las siguientes líneas se tratará de dar respuesta a estas interrogantes. |
| Description: | It is interesting to address the topic of digital violence in universities, mainly because they become an echo chamber in society. In that sense, it will first be essential to go back to the most immediate background that led to legislation against digital violence, also mentioning what some universities are implementing to prevent it, and finally, reviewing some cases that occurred in the school environment just in the context of confinement. For this, it will be necessary to answer the following questions: What social and legal factors determined and led to the beginning of a new legal framework to legislate on digital violence? How does the use and consumption of images affect the school environment? To what extent have universities addressed the issue of digital violence and developed proposals to improve school life? In the following lines, an attempt will be made to answer these questions. |
