dc.descriptionHistorical and Aesthetic Dissertations from the Academy collects works of research that deal with historical topics such as the Easter Controversy in Ireland, Theoretical and Conceptual Reflections of Novo-Hispanic cities, the Social Field of Mining, Domestic Animal Control in Zacatecas, The Morismas of Bracho, The Leadership of Eva Perón and Physiognomic Homogeneity; as well as Aesthetic Perspectives on the works of Pascual Hijuelos, Ismael Guardado, Claude Weisbuch, Omar Rodríguez-Graham and Francisco Almaraz, they additionally show Urbanism, Landscape Design and Turkish Architecture, and the Arts as Didactic Elements. This is a co-edition of Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas (Autonomous University of Zacatecas) and Universidad de Colima (University of Colima) which reflects the commitment of both institutions to academic excellence in order to generate an impact in the environment. This volume does not only highlight the talent and passion of both students and professors for researching, but it also invites reflection on past and present, connecting theory with practice in benefit of all society.en_US
dc.description.abstractDisertaciones históricas y estéticas desde la academia reúne investigaciones que abordan temas históricos como la controversia pascual en Irlanda, reflexiones teórico-conceptuales de ciudades novohispanas, el campo social minero, el control de los animales domésticos en Zacatecas, las morismas de Bracho, el liderazgo de Eva Perón y la homogeneidad fisonómica; así como perspectivas estéticas en las obras de Pascual Hijuelos, Ismael Guardado, Claude Weisbuch, Omar Rodríguez-Graham y Francisco Almaraz, además muestra el urbanismo, paisajismo y la arquitectura turca, y las artes como elementos didácticos. Es una coedición de la Universidad de Colima y la Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas que refleja el compromiso de ambas instituciones con la excelencia académica para generar impacto en el entorno. Este volumen no sólo destaca el talento y la pasión tanto de estudiantes como de docentes por la investigación, sino que también invita a reflexionar sobre el pasado y el presente, conectando la teoría con la práctica en beneficio de la sociedad.en_US
