| Abstract: | Los temas abordados en este libro son variados, pero comparten una serie de problemáticas que son comunes a las mujeres de América Latina, quienes viven en carne propia las condiciones en que el sistema capitalista y patriarcal han generado para normar las relaciones entre los géneros. Si bien los temas centrales son el género, la salud y el trabajo, hay elementos que no se deben dejar de lado, sino que hay que traerlos a la luz para problematizarlos, reflexionarlos y proponer soluciones, tales como: migración, interseccionalidad, el trabajo de los cuidados y una amplia gama de aplicaciones teórico-conceptuales y empíricas en donde realidad y pensamiento se imbrican. |
| Description: | The topics addressed in this book are varied, but they share a series of problems common to women in Latin America, who experience firsthand the conditions that the capitalist and patriarchal system has created to regulate gender relations. While the central themes are gender, health, and work, there are elements that should not be overlooked; rather, they must be brought to light to problematize them, reflect upon them, and propose solutions. These include migration, intersectionality, care work, and a wide range of theoretical, conceptual, and empirical applications where reality and thought intertwine. |
