| dc.description | The relationship between the Spanish and the Indians were governed by the provisions of the monarch through royal decrees sent to the Audiencia of La Plata de los Charcas. The documents of this correspondence relating to the treatment of indigenous reveal part of the reality that they lived in the economic context and the demands to which they were subjected. The analysis of these provisions allows us to reconstruct aspects of economic history at that Audiencia and the type of policy applied. | es_ES |
